With extensive years of experience in establishing and heading Communications & CSR departments and advising on Social Impact for leading companies in the Middle East, Lina Hussein has developed a strong professional backbone in her areas of speciality.

Throughout her career, she contributed greatly to the growth of a number of start-ups into market leaders. She has also worked with different sizes of enterprises to help them move from a mere business-flavoured corporate performance and reputation into a more strategized sustainable approach that creates shared economic and social value simultaneously and helps acquire competitive market positioning. Designing and managing development programmes between private, public, and civil society organisations is also a key part of her work and passion.

She also works closely with micro and small businesses and social enterprises, providing them with advisory and guidance within her field of speciality. SMEs development has been a key part of her career, where she enjoyed architecting support ecosystems, promoting social entrepreneurship, building knowledge, developing and leading empirical research studies, and creating local and international collaboration platforms.    

She holds a Master’s degree in Strategy & Marketing from The University of Warwick in the UK and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Jordan. She is also a Certified Shared Value Consultant, bringing in latest global best practices in strategic social impact through business.
